Rachel began her career in elder care right here at Locust Grove Village in 2016 as a CNA. She is a graduate of Baker University with a Bachelor of Business Administration. After moving back to the are Rachel returned to work at LGV as the Community Coordinator. Rachel transitioned into the Social Service role and is now working as the Business Manager. In addition, Rachel is working with Charlotte on an Administrator in Training program with hopes of one day becoming a Licensed Adult Care Administrator in Kansas.
Outside of work, Rachel is kept busy with a 2-year-old son, Creed. They enjoy spending time visiting grandparents, playing at the park, going to museums and finding new zoo’s to visit!

Tayci started working at LGV on September 2nd of 2014 when she was 20 years old. She had previously worked in Hays while going to Fort Hays State. Tayci started as a CNA and then got the CMA and went on to become a Team Lead and Mentor for LGV coworkers. Tayci then served as the Life Enhancement Coordinator/Activity Director. Her passion for helping next led to pursuing interest in Human Resources. In early 2022, Tayci was named the HR Director.
Tayci has two daughters, and a fiancé. She loves music and being outdoors. Tayci enjoys working here because LGV is a person-centered care facility that truly takes pride in the care provided to our residents and the family like feeling you get from working here.
Fun Fact: A bonus of working here is that her great grandmother also resides here and she is able to spend time with her while at work.
Sydni lived in Utica, Ks before moving to Hays as a young girl. She actually wanted to become a Cosmetologist when in High School but after her Grandpa got sick and was placed in a nursing home, after seeing the love, care, and devotion that the staff gave to the residents she decided to change career choice to nursing. Sydni has been a CNA/CMA since 2010 and would like to eventually go to nursing school. She previously worked in ASL and the State Psychiatric Hospital.
Sydni has a 10-year-old son that she loves to watch play baseball. Her hobbies include playing adult sport leagues and anything that allows her to be outdoors.

Bethany graduated from FHSU in 2019 with her bachelor’s degree in social work. She spent the last four years working in Hutchinson, before returning to her hometown of Hays. Bethany has always had a passion for working with the elderly and is excited to be serving residents of Locust Grove. In her spare time, Bethany enjoys reading, baking, watching sitcoms, and chasing around her 1.5 year-old daughter.
Fun Fact: Bethany loves learning languages and speaks some German and French
