Locust Grove Village fared very well in the recent Best of the Best Awards.  This annual event sponsored by the Hays Daily News is the Official People’s Choice Awards for this region.

There were over 105 categories to select your favorite business.  LGV was included in the Home, Home Services & Finance division under nursing facility and assisted living facility categories.

Locust Grove Village was selected #1 in both categories — coming out over 9 other businesses in the area. 

In 2017, LGV was a top 3 finalist in the same categories.    Charlotte Rathke, Administrator and other members of the Leadership staff were on hand to accept the honors at the Awards Dinner and Ceremony held at the Fox Pavilion in Hays.  “We are so honored that the public voted for us in this online process”, Rathke noted.   “We are proud to serve the elders of Rush County and the Central Kansas region”, she added.

The Hays Daily News sponsors this annual program but in just the past two years have opened it up to include businesses out of Ellis County.   The Awards Ceremony featured emcee Anissa Pfeifer, the reigning Mrs. Kansas for 2018.  Thank you to all our supporters and friends for the great honor of being named BEST OF THE BEST 2018.
